Tedlar Bags
Tedlar bags are an excellent solution for collecting air from a space so that the gases present can be analysed afterwards. Our Tedlar bags are made from DuPont’s high-quality 2mil Tedlar® PVF film. Tedlar® film is a registered trademark for polyvinyl fluoride products and is produced exclusively by DuPont.
Tedlar film is extremely strong, durable and inert to many chemical components. In practice this means that gases sampled into a Tedlar bag remain very stable and do not adhere to or react with the material, which is essential for the gas analysis to be carried out.
Our Tedlar bags are made from high-quality 2mil Tedlar® film, a sturdy and flexible film also known as polyvinyl fluoride or PVF. This is a registered trademark produced only by DuPont, so you can be sure you are choosing the highest quality. The Tedlar bag is extremely suitable for taking air samples in places where the temperature is very high, as the bag is highly heat resistant. It is of course also perfectly suitable for use under normal conditions.
We offer Tedlar bags in a wide range of sizes: bags of 0.5, 1, 3, 5 or 10 litres are commonly used. Larger bags with a capacity of 100, 500 or 1000 litres are also readily available. If you need a different size, a custom-made solution is an option as well.
Our Tedlar bags are supplied as standard with a polypropylene fitting, but are also available with a stainless steel or Teflon fitting. Our polypropylene fittings also come with a septum. Available as standard in common sizes such as 0.7 litre, 1 litre, 3 litre and 5 litre bags, and up to 2000 litres. Custom work is no problem either: we are happy to discuss your application with you in order to arrive at the correctly specified Tedlar bag.
