Easy to use

One of the biggest advantages of passive personal samplers is the fact that they are very easy to use. An employee simply attaches the passive personal sampler to their work clothing, and that is it. No hassle with hoses, batteries or pumps that only make the job harder. So certainly an attractive option if you regularly investigate known gases or vapours in your working environment.

The passive personal samplers are intended for single use. That means that, once you have followed the instructions for use, you send the samplers to a laboratory for further analysis. You can also return them to BaSystemen; we will then take the work off your hands and of course report the results back to you.

Different options

BaSystemen offers various types of passive personal samplers. The 3M™ Organic Vapor Monitor 3500+, for example, is suitable for passive sampling of various volatile organic vapours. The 3M™ Organic Vapor Monitor 3501+ differs from the 3500+ because of its high sampling rate. This means volatile organic vapours are also sampled at low concentrations, and short-term sampling is possible. For sampling formaldehyde there is the 3M™ Formaldehyde Badge 3721+, and for sampling ethylene oxide you use the 3M™ Ethyleen Oxide Monitor 3551+.

In addition to these badges there is also the Radiello diffusive sampler, a versatile system which, thanks to its radial design, has a much larger sampling surface. This makes it possible to measure a very wide range of substances accurately, in working environments, urban air monitoring and indoor air quality studies alike.
