As Junior Account Manager at BaSystemen you will be trained step by step to become a specialist in measuring equipment for occupational health and safety and the environment. Think of equipment for detecting toxic and explosive gases, measuring noise exposure and carrying out air sampling.
You help new and existing customers find the right measurement solutions for their safety and environmental questions. At first you do this together with experienced colleagues, later increasingly independently.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Customer contact through visits, video calls and telephone
- Listening to the customer's needs and translating them into a suitable solution
- Building up product knowledge and market insight
- Working together with colleagues from Sales, Support and Service
- Contributing ideas about opportunities with existing and new customers
You are given the space to learn, to make mistakes and to grow, while always being able to fall back on your team.
What qualities do you bring?
- Higher professional (HBO) level of working and thinking (for example in engineering, commercial economics, safety studies or similar)
- 0–3 years of work experience in a commercial, technical or customer-facing role
- Affinity with technology, industry and safety
- A strong communicator and curious
- Showing initiative and eager to learn
- You enjoy helping customers and solving problems
- A healthy sense of humour 😉
