Assay 593 Badge for measuring personal exposure to mercury vapour
The 584 Mercury Vapour Badge from Assay Technology is a suitable way of measuring personal exposure to mercury vapour. Mercury vapour is captured by a thin, ultra-pure layer of gold. The gold is digested overnight with a mixture of concentrated acids. An analysis of elemental mercury is then carried out by cold vapour atomic fluorescence (CVAF). These badges previously came with a particle filter as standard, but this has been removed because most customers do not sample in dusty environments. Should you nevertheless need a particle filter, simply state this when ordering these badges.
The Assay 584 Badges are very easy to use for personal exposure measurements. Clip the 584 Badge to the work clothing of the person you want to monitor and the measurement can begin. No other equipment, batteries, tubing or pumps are required. Once the measurement is complete, the 584 Badge must be sent to a laboratory of your choice. Of course, you can also return the 584 Badge to BaSystemen and we will take the work off your hands.
Please note: to guarantee the maximum shelf life of the product, the 584 badge must be stored refrigerated. Try to keep shipping to a maximum of two days and therefore avoid shipping at weekends. Store refrigerated upon receipt.
