Assay 525 TraceAir® II for measuring Volatile Organic Compounds
The 525 Organic Vapor Monitor is the fastest passive sampling badge from Assay Technology, which means it is the most sensitive badge with the lowest reporting limits. Use this badge for monitoring chemicals with low limit values (10 ppm or less), STEL monitoring or for indoor air quality situations.
The Assay 566 Badge captures, among others: benzene, butyl acrylate, chloroform, ethyl acrylate, ethylbenzene, naphthalene, organic solvent panel, n-propyl bromide, toluene, total hydrocarbons (such as n-hexane), xylenes, and more!
Please note: there are a few chemicals with low exposure levels of 10 ppm or lower that are too volatile to be reliably collected at PEL levels by this fast-sampling diffusion monitor. Such as: methanol, methyl acrylate and vinyl chloride. Use one of our other organic vapour badges, for example the Assay 566 or Assay 546.
The Assay 525 TraceAir® II Badges are extremely easy to use. The badge simply needs to be clipped to the work clothing to start a measurement. No further equipment, batteries, hoses or pumps are required to use the monitor.
Once the measurement is complete, you send the monitor to a laboratory of your choice for analysis. Of course, you can also return it to BaSystemen and we will take the work off your hands. This monitor has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture.
