The Aethair IAQ is the instrument for monitoring indoor air quality continuously and accurately. The device measures nine key parameters, including particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), volatile organic compounds (tVOC), formaldehyde, CO₂, temperature, humidity and air pressure. All data is forwarded in real time to the Aethair Cloud, where you can view and analyse it 24/7. That way you always have a firm grip on the air quality in your building and can intervene immediately wherever necessary.
The IAQ is a fully calibrated measuring station that you can deploy straight away. As soon as the device is connected, it starts collecting data continuously and transmitting it securely via 4G LTE or WiFi. In the cloud you get a clear overview of current values and historical trends. You can also set up notifications and automated actions, so that ventilation systems or HVAC installations respond immediately when limit values are exceeded. The IAQ therefore works not only as a monitor, but also as an active link in healthy and safe building management.
At BaSystemen you can choose from a range of indoor climate meters, each with their own strengths. The Aethair IAQ is above all the right choice if you value versatility, real-time insight and central data access. Where other meters often monitor just one or a few parameters, the Aethair IAQ measures no fewer than nine different air quality factors in a single compact device, from particulate matter to gases and climate parameters. You choose the Aethair IAQ when you:
Do you have an application where a single parameter, such as CO₂ or temperature, is enough? Then a simpler sensor from our range may be a better fit. But as soon as you need a complete picture and reliability, reporting and automation become important, the Aethair IAQ is a complete and future-proof choice.
The Aethair IAQ is used worldwide across a wide range of sectors:
The Aethair IAQ is first and foremost designed as a cloud- and platform-driven solution: real-time monitoring, storage and analysis via the Aethair Cloud. From that environment you can set up alerts (for example when limit values are exceeded) and link automated actions, such as controlling HVAC installations or sending notifications to users.
As for local alarms:
The device itself has no built-in siren or display that raises an alarm directly.
You can, however, connect the IAQ via the API or a platform integration to external systems (such as building management systems, HVAC or separate alarm modules) that do signal locally, for example via lights, sound or notification panels.
The IAQ therefore acts as a reliable data supplier, while alarms are handled by connected systems that are designed specifically for that purpose.
5 VDC (micro-USB),
Particulate matter measurements (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) – accurately measures particles between 0.3 and 10 µm, with high efficiency (≥98%) and a range of 0 – 500 μg/m³.
Gas sensors
Formaldehyde (CH₂O): 0 – 1 mg/m³, resolution 0.001 mg/m³, margin of error ±5%.
CO₂: 400 – 5000 ppm, resolution 1 ppm, margin of error ±50 ppm + 2%.
Total VOCs (TVOC): 0 – 10 ppm, margin of error ±15%.
Environmental parameters – temperature (0 – 45 °C, accuracy ±0.5 °C), relative humidity (15 – 75% RH, accuracy ±2%), air pressure (300 – 1100 hPa). Additional calculations for dew point and heat index.
Fast response – <3 seconds single response time, ≤25 seconds total response time.
