Blackline G6 Online Single Gas Detector

The G6 from Blackline Safety is a single gas detector with online functionality. In addition to the standard gas sensor that raises the alarm when the limit value is exceeded, this gas detector has a 3G/4G connection. This allows you to respond to gas alarms quickly and appropriately and takes the safety of your employees to a higher level. The gas detector also collects and logs all kinds of data that you can analyse afterwards for data-driven safety. For example, by combining GPS and gas sensor data you can map out high-risk locations. The big data from the G6 gives you a considerable advantage in the effort to reduce incidents within your organisation to zero.

Blackline Analytics

The G6 gas detector automatically sends its data to the Blackline monitoring portal in the background. Every bump test, calibration, gas exposure and usage session is recorded and bundled automatically. You gain insight into how and where equipment is used and where hazards occur, and you can even determine which gas detection assets are performing well and which could be put to better use. It has never been easier to dive deeper into the data and discover insights into safety in the workplace. This portal receives information not only from your Blackline G6, but also from the Blackline G7c multi-gas detectors, G7c lone worker devices and G7 EXO area monitors, giving you a complete overview of the gas detectors within your organisation. 

• Events report: Provides an overview of all your measurement data and allows you to drill down using filters, for example by device or by date.
• Events map: Shows the locations of specific events. Several occurrences of the same type may point to a recurring problem.
  
  
• Alerts report: Gives a complete overview of the alarms per device, so you can see which users generate the most alarms, when and where alarms occur and which types of alarm are most common.
  
  
• Gas measurement report: Combines charts of gas sensor readings with an interactive map to display the timeline associated with the gas measurements.
• Usage report: Shows the total usage time of your gas detector fleet, where you can also drill down using filters, for example by device or by date.
  
  
• Bump test and calibration report: Shows the bump tests and calibrations of your gas detector fleet, with the number of bump tests carried out, devices calibrated and docks used, plus the overall pass rate.
  
  
• Devices and cartridges report: Provides a complete overview of device status, including firmware versions and cartridges.
  
  
• Docks report: Shows the locations and use of G7 Docks. See where your docks are placed, whether they are being used, plus test and calibration results to track performance.
  
  
• Device logs report: Provides an overview of the data from all device alerts of the past seven days and can be exported for future use.
  
  
• Device assignment history: Tracks changes made to device assignments, device names and organisation transfers to assist with troubleshooting and device management.
