Blackline Safety G7 PowerPack
On large-scale construction and facility maintenance projects - including shutdowns and turnarounds - it is critical that your gas detection keeps working continuously. The G7 PowerPack is an external, rechargeable battery accessory that clips onto the back of any Blackline G7 portable device. Adding a charged PowerPack doubles the battery life of the G7 and makes it easy to maintain constant, reliable operation.
Blackline G7 gas detectors and/or man down devices have a standard battery life of 18 hours of continuous operation at 20°C using standard LEL, H2S, CO and O2 sensors. This means that under normal conditions, when you insert the G7 PowerPack into the G7's charging port, you double your device's battery life to as much as 36 hours.
Some components, such as a PID sensor and the optional G7 pump cartridge, consume more battery power than usual, which shortens your G7's battery life. In such cases the Blackline G7 PowerPack is the perfect solution for still completing a full day on a single charge. The G7 PowerPack can even be swapped in intrinsically safe environments, and extends the battery life of the G7 when high-consumption sensors are installed. You can even exchange an empty PowerPack for a charged one whenever needed.
