Blackline Safety G7c

The Blackline G7c is a modular safety monitor. It can be fitted with a cartridge holding 1 to 5 gas sensors and thus serve as a single-gas detector or a multi-gas detector. Alternatively, it can be fitted with a cartridge without gas sensors and used purely as a man down device. What makes it unique is its complete package: with gas sensors fitted the device still offers man down functions, making it a 2-in-1 instrument. The G7c therefore has something to offer everyone. The device supports more than 20 different gas sensors.

A major advantage of this device is its integrated 3G/4G connectivity (by means of an eSIM). In the event of a gas leak, accident or health hazard, a gatekeeper or emergency responder can be alerted manually or automatically so that action can be taken. The G7c watches over employees automatically and sends emergency alarms, even when the employee is no longer able to do so. All safety incidents arrive at the overarching Blackline Live monitoring portal, from where responders can be alerted or an evacuation can be initiated. Even during an acute evacuation such as a fire, an alarm message can be sent from the Blackline Live monitoring portal to all G7c wearers (or to a specific group of G7c devices), putting every detector into alarm.

Optionally, monitoring staff can set up a voice connection with the employee via the G7c. A constant connection and real-time insight into device status provide essential information and situational awareness for optimised responses to emergency calls.

The G7c has a modular design, so you have a suitable instrument for every situation: man down alarm only, or combined with single-gas or four-gas cartridges with sensors of your choice. Bump test and calibration data are automatically forwarded to Blackline's monitoring portal for compliance and reporting in real time. A wireless connection means that every G7c can be configured remotely, and firmware updates are installed automatically.

It is of course also possible to switch off all the extra functions and use the G7c as a straightforward gas detector. The cartridges with gas sensors mean that even a layperson can replace and calibrate a sensor.
