TWIG One Ex Lone Worker Alarm
TWIG developed the One Ex for people who work alone in high-risk environments. The TWIG One Ex is an intrinsically safe personal alarm device designed to protect lone workers in potentially explosive areas. The TWIG One Ex is a small, light and robust device that automatically raises the alarm if the user falls or stops moving.
The TWIG One Ex can be integrated into a system with a variety of monitors and communication equipment to deliver the flexibility your organisation needs. The device can also be fitted with various accessories that make it particularly suitable for a wide range of applications.
The TWIG One Ex can be used to safeguard the safety of lone workers. An alarm button can be pressed, after which information about position, direction and speed of movement is automatically sent to a preset number.
In the event of a fall/impact or a lack of motion, the device connects to preset numbers by itself in order to alert the emergency services. The exact location can be transmitted automatically at the same time.
The wearer of the TWIG can also be tracked via SMS or TCP/IP, wherever in the world they are. Via an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC, requires additional equipment and a subscription), the alarm can also be raised when the One Ex is out of range of a GSM network.
