SV 307A Noise Monitoring Station for Environmental Noise
The SV 307A noise monitoring station is an all-in-one environmental noise monitoring station based on patented MEMS microphone technology, covered by a lifetime warranty. The SV 307A noise monitoring station is designed for permanent environmental noise monitoring in all weather conditions. The device also uses smart sensors to regulate the internal temperature and detect hardware faults. The new enclosure is made of strong material that protects the internal electronics.
The unit features a class 1 sound level meter with 4G modem and GPS. The measurement data consists of noise levels, statistics and sound spectra, together with audio files that can be triggered by sound level or time. The advanced triggering also offers the option of noise prediction to warn the user before certain noise levels are reached. For remote applications the SV 307A connects to the SvanNET service, where all measurement data is accessible via a web portal. In addition, SvanNET makes it possible to connect to the SV 307A to listen live to the sound from the microphone!
In March 2022 the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) granted the world's first type approval to a noise monitoring station with a MEMS microphone. The SV 307A received the certificate of conformity for the Class 1 Sound Level Meter as specified by IEC 61672. This is an important turning point in the history of MEMS microphones in environmental noise monitoring.
Applications:
- Environmental noise. Such as harmful or disturbing outdoor noise caused by sources such as transport, construction, manufacturing and recreational activities. Some common examples of environmental noise pollution are road traffic noise from cars and lorries, construction noise, factory noise or unwanted sound from festivals.
