Foil bags

Foil bags are an excellent solution for capturing air from a space and subsequently having the gases present analysed. Multi-foil bags, also known as foil bags or multi layer foil bags, are made from metallised polyester and polyethylene-bonded film. This means these bags are highly suitable for taking gas and air samples of low-molecular compounds, such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Thanks to the metal layer of the multi-foil bag, the samples taken are protected against light and moisture and remain stable.

At BaSystemen you will find multi-foil bags in various sizes. We supply the 0.5, 1, 3 and 5 litre sizes with polypropylene fitting from stock. Other sizes and fittings are also possible. Our Multi Foil Bags are manufactured from metallised polyester and polyethylene-bonded film. This makes it possible to use our Multi Foil gas bags for sampling low-molecular compounds such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and other permanent gases.

Because of background levels in the Multi Foil Bags, these air sampling bags are not recommended for low concentrations of VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Our Multi Foil bags are available as standard with a polypropylene (PP) fitting and in sizes of 0.5 litre, 1 litre, 3 litres and 5 litres. For custom requirements such as different sizes and fittings, please contact us.
