Kynar Bags

Kynar bags are an excellent solution for capturing air from a space and having the gases present analysed afterwards. Kynar bags are made from pure, high-grade 3 mil Kynar® PVDF film, a registered trademark of Arkema Inc. These bags are highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals at both normal and high temperatures. The gas bags are also tear-resistant and offer good stability for many hydrocarbons, CO, CO2 and methane. At normal temperatures, Kynar bags are resistant to components with a pH value of up to 12. At BaSystemen we stock a wide range of Kynar bags in various sizes, from 0.5 to 1000 litres. You can also choose between polypropylene (PP), stainless steel or Teflon (PTFE) fittings.

Kynar bags are made from high-grade Kynar® PVDF film, a registered trademark of Arkema. PVDF stands for polyvinylidene fluoride and is a fluorinated semi-crystalline thermoplastic obtained by polymerising vinylidene fluoride (VF2). Our Kynar bags are made from 3 mil Kynar PVDF film, are highly resistant to aggressive substances and solvents, and can withstand high temperatures of up to 150 °C.

The type of fitting, however, determines the maximum sampling temperature. Kynar bags are available in sizes of up to 1000 litres. What sets Kynar gas bags apart from other materials is their resistance to components with a pH value of up to 12 (at normal temperatures).
