RAEGuard 2 PID ATEX Transmitter with PID

The RAEGuard 2 PID is a stationary transmitter that can be installed to continuously measure volatile organic compounds at a fixed location. RAE Systems is known for the quality of its PID sensors, which it has managed to incorporate into a fixed measuring head with this product.

The device has a measuring range of 0.01 to 1000 ppm. With the pumped version it is even able to measure sticky VOCs, which are more often missed by a diffusion device. A diffusion RAE Guard 2 is also available for the standard gases.

The RAEGuard 2 PID operates on 10 to 28 VDC and provides an analogue 4-20 mA signal via a three-wire signal output or an RS-485 Modbus digital signal output. It is available in two different models, pumped or diffusion. The graphical display of the RAEGuard 2 PID shows the real-time reading. The transmitter also has an LED status indicator, so that you can see at a glance whether there is an unsafe situation. In addition, low, high and fault relays can be configured to trigger external alarms or process controls.
