The VOCPoint is a fixed photo-ionisation detector (PID) specifically designed for the continuous monitoring of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The device uses an extremely stable hollow cathode lamp with an ionisation energy of 10.6 eV, which gives the lamp a long service life of up to 15,000 hours or more. The new sensor unit offers an extensive measuring range of up to 2000 ppm (isobutylene), with a high resolution of 0.01 to 1 ppm, depending on the measured value.
The VOCPoint features an integrated humidity and temperature sensor, so that measurement results can be compensated for the ambient conditions, resulting in greater accuracy. The device is further equipped with automatic calibration and an automatic purge system, which together with an activated carbon filter safeguards the stability of the measurements.
The VOCPoint is designed for use in explosive atmospheres and comes in a flameproof housing, so that it meets strict safety standards. Two alarm relays are activated when the gas concentration exceeds the set limit values, while a fault relay reports any errors in the system. The device has a user-friendly graphic display with intuitive user guidance and clear text instructions, which makes it easy to configure and operate the device.
