Teledyne GMI PS500

The PS500 from GMI by Teledyne is a versatile and advanced portable gas detector used to detect a variety of gases and vapours. The PS500 is designed to detect a wide range of gases and vapours, including flammable gases (methane, propane, hydrogen, etc.), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and many other toxic gases. The instrument can be configured with up to 5 gas detection sensors at the same time. The device has a robust, durable housing that withstands harsh environments and daily use in demanding industrial conditions. The PS500 also features an intuitive menu that can be operated with two large buttons (which can also be used while wearing work gloves). The PS500 provides both visual (such as flashing lights) and audible (such as loud alarms) warnings when hazardous gases are detected. The bright display makes gas concentrations and warnings easy to read.

Finally, the PS500 can record and store the measured gas concentrations for later analysis. Some models are equipped with data logging capabilities and can share data with computers or mobile devices via wireless communication.
