Nippon EMP-2 mercury vapour meter

The EMP-2 model is designed for measuring gaseous mercury in working environments. The device is compact, lightweight, battery-powered and can be deployed almost anywhere. The EMP-2 has a sensitivity and resolution of 0.1 ug / m3. The measured data is captured automatically and recorded in a built-in data logger. The data can be retrieved via a PC for analysis. The rechargeable battery can easily be swapped out for external charging.
The Nippon EMP-2 continuously measures the amount of mercury vapour in the air using cold vapour atomic adsorption spectrometry. Thanks to this measuring method and the use of the gold filter, this instrument is largely free of cross-sensitivity to other gases, vapours and moisture. This measuring method is also suitable for measuring in environments with high acid concentrations.
Because the EMP-2 measures in real time, it can be used to trace the source of mercury contamination. With its resolution of 0.1 µg/m³, you can easily detect even very low concentrations of mercury vapour.
Zero calibration can be carried out anywhere and at any time using a built-in filter. The battery provides five hours of use and is easy to change. The measured values are stored on an SD card, so you do not lose time integrating the data into your report. The Nippon EMP-2 is the smallest mercury vapour meter on the market. The Nippon EMP2 is easy to handle thanks to adjustable carrying straps and is very user-friendly.
