TWIG SOSCard built into an ID card holder

The TWIG SOSCard is a personal alarm device with the full range of man down functionality. What makes this device unique is its discreet design as an ID card holder. That makes the TWIG SOSCard highly suitable for the safety of front-office and care staff or social workers.

Alarm triggers include the manual emergency button, automatic fall detection, no-movement detection, check-ins and, optionally, a lanyard that puts the device into (silent) alarm when the cord is pulled loose. The emergency protocol you have configured in advance is then initiated: it transmits the last known user location and opens a two-way voice connection with preset telephone numbers.

The device has a 3G connection to establish this voice connection and uses GPS to determine the location. When the user works in environments where GPS is inadequate, TWIG SRD Beacons can be used so that the user can still be located.
