Casella CEL-120 Acoustic Calibrator

The CEL-120 is the smallest acoustic calibrator available that meets the standards set by ANSI and IEC.  This robust calibrator is designed specifically for working environments and can take a knock. The CEL-120 is a compact, user-friendly and ergonomically designed calibrator. Calibration of Casella sound level meters is fully automatic with the CEL-120. The indicator on the CEL-120 shows whether the sound level meter has been positioned correctly, making an incorrect calibration practically impossible.

Calibrating sound level meters is an essential procedure when carrying out noise measurements. The CEL-120 ensures that the sound level meter delivers consistently accurate readings, so that measurements always comply with the standards and remain mutually comparable.

The CEL-120 is designed and manufactured to the requirements of IEC60942:2003 and ANSI S1.40: 2.006. These standards define the accuracy of the calibration value across the temperature range, humidity and pressure conditions typical of field work.
