Casella dBadge2 Personal Noise Dosimeter
The dBadge2 from Casella Solutions is worn on the shoulder so that it cannot get in the employee's way. The device can be started, stopped and monitored remotely and can easily forward the measurement data to your mobile phone. During the measurement every relevant parameter is recorded, in such a way that you can afterwards run any conceivable analysis on the measurement data. Of course, operating and configuring the device manually is equally possible (without mobile applications).
After the measurement, the Casella Insight data management and analysis software lets you easily generate a range of reports on noise exposure in the workplace. This makes the dBadge2 unrivalled in ease of use and accuracy, so you can be confident that you are operating within the statutory limits for noise exposure.
The dBadge2 offers the option of assessing your measured values against several international protocols, such as CFR 1910.95 (USA) or ISO9612:2009. Regardless of what you have the dBadge2 show on its display, all parameters such as LAeq, LAFmax LCPeak and many more are measured and stored simultaneously, so you can never be left without measurement data.
Optionally, the dBadge2 can be upgraded to a dBadge2 Plus, which also offers audio recording. Audio recordings can then be triggered whenever threshold values are exceeded. This makes it far easier to listen back afterwards to identify which processes contribute most to noise exposure, so that it can be tackled at source. A second upgrade option is the dBadge2 Pro, which in addition to audio recording also features octave band analysis.
