The SV200A noise monitoring station is the pinnacle of our noise monitoring range and is fitted with built-in microphones so that the direction of the noise can be monitored as well. This revolutionary solution makes it possible to identify dominant noise sources and provides information about their location, both vertically and horizontally. In practice, measuring directional sensitivity makes it possible to pinpoint the dominant noise source in the measurement area or to exclude unwanted noise.
Four additional microphones on the sides of the housing use the sound intensity technique to detect the direction of a dominant noise source in both the vertical and horizontal axis. The Leq distribution is stored as a time history as a function of direction and can be used for data filtering and reporting.
The station can carry out real-time frequency analysis in 1/1 and 1/3 octave bands and store it in the data log. In addition, the SV 200A can record audio for noise source recognition and data recalculation.
The advanced alarm function can send e-mail and SMS notifications triggered by threshold values in combination with time conditions. Status alarms from the measuring station are also available.
The 4G MODEM, WLAN and LAN provide fast data transfer over the internet to a PC with standard internet connectivity. SvanNET offers a plug & play connection to the internet and easy management of measurement projects. Regardless of the type of SIM card, public or private, SvanNET takes care of the connection and gives full access to the measurement data on any device with access to a web browser. Bluetooth® and Wireless LAN provide an access point for easy configuration with the SvanNET application.
In line with ISO 1996-2 requirements, the SV200A uses the electrostatic actuator to carry out periodic system checks. Checking the entire measurement chain, including the microphone, is an advantage of the electrostatic actuator method.
The accurate GPS module provides information about the location and ensures time synchronisation of the measurements.
The SV 200 measures all acoustic parameters simultaneously, including Leq, Lmax, Lpeak, L95 and the 1/3 octave spectrum. Thanks to the three measurement profiles, the A-, C- and unweighted sound levels are determined simultaneously with Fast, Slow and Impulse time weighting. Logging of all measurement results, including frequency spectra, is standard, as is 24-bit digital audio recording.
The station is very easy to install and suitable both for short measurements, such as during events, and for long-term measurements in a variety of environments, including industry, road, air and rail traffic, and construction work.
