Kunak AIR Pro - Air Quality Monitor
The Kunak AIR Pro is a modular air quality monitor for continuously measuring air pollution. The system combines several sensors in one compact unit and provides real-time insight into both a wide range of gases and particulate matter. Depending on the configuration, up to five gases can be measured simultaneously, combined with particulate measurements such as PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, TSP (total dust) and TPC. Thanks to the modular plug-and-play cartridge system, sensors can easily be replaced or adapted to the requirements of a project.
How does the Kunak AIR Pro work?
The Kunak Pro supports a broad range of gases, including CO, NO₂, O₃, SO₂, H₂S, NH₃, VOCs and CO₂. In addition, the system also records temperature, humidity, air pressure and dew point. The monitor works with interchangeable smart gas cartridges. Each cartridge contains a separate sensor with its own calibration data and configuration. As soon as a cartridge is inserted, the system automatically recognises the sensor type and immediately adjusts the measurement configuration. This modular system makes it possible to combine or swap sensors easily, depending on the application. As a result, the same monitor can be deployed for a wide variety of measurement projects.
The Kunak AIR Pro supports communication via 2G, 3G, 4G, Ethernet and Modbus RTU. The measurement data is automatically forwarded to the Kunak AIR Cloud platform, where data can be centrally visualised, analysed and exported. External sensors can also be connected, such as an anemometer, sound level meter, pyranometer, UV sensor or rain gauge.
The IP65-rated housing is designed for long-term outdoor use and withstands a wide range of weather conditions. Thanks to the built-in battery and support for solar panel power the system can operate autonomously, depending on the configuration for up to several weeks without an external power supply.
Real-time data processing
The measurement data is automatically forwarded to the Kunak AIR Cloud platform. Via this web platform, users can visualise, analyse and export measurement data in real time. The platform supports, among other things:

- reporting and data export
- API connections with external systems
In addition, the platform offers tools for hotspot analysis, pollution sources, trends and predictive analyses of air quality and meteorological conditions.

What is the difference between the Kunak AIR Pro and the Kunak AIR Lite?
The Kunak AIR Lite and Kunak AIR Pro are both part of the same modular air quality solution from Kunak. Both systems use the same smart gas cartridge technology, support real-time cloud monitoring and are designed for professional air quality measurements. Even so, there are clear differences in capacity, expandability and area of application.
- Number of gas sensors
The Kunak AIR Lite supports a maximum of 2 gas sensors, while the Kunak AIR Pro supports up to 5 gas sensors.
- Particulate matter
The Kunak Air Lite measures PM1, PM2.5, and PM10. The Kunak Air Pro measures PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, TSP (total dust) and TPC (particle count).
