Steri-Trac Fixed Gas Detector for Ethylene Oxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracetic Acid, Oxygen or Explosive Gases
The Steri-Trac series is a fixed continuous gas monitoring system from ChemDAQ for measuring occupational exposure to ethylene oxide (EtO), hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and peracetic acid (PAA). The Steri-Trac is optionally also compatible with an oxygen (O2) sensor or a sensor for explosive gases (LEL). Every model in the series features a convenient touchscreen for configuring the device and provides real-time readings of the vapour concentration in parts per million (ppm). Via the touchscreen you can, among other things, change gas types, adjust alarms and log data.
The Steri-Trac has a clearly visible display showing the real-time reading and the time-weighted average (TWA). When a limit value is exceeded, the device generates an alarm to warn people in the vicinity. The alarms are both acoustic and visual with colour coding, so that you can see the exact status of the Steri-Trac at a glance.
Signal connectivity via Modbus, 4-20 mA and relays makes it possible to connect to PLCs, BMS and other systems. In addition, the Steri-Trac optionally has internal memory storage so that data can also be stored locally and read out later for analysis.
The Steri-Trac series is available in various configurations, so that the device can easily be adapted to the placement of gas sterilisers and automated endoscope reprocessors (AER). Continuous operation keeps your employees safe and raises an alarm whenever a problem occurs.
The Steri-Trac 2+ will also feature internal memory storage for collecting and analysing data over time.
Optionally, the Steri-Trac can also be extended with a Data Acquisition System from ChemDAQ. This is a computer software solution for area monitoring and archiving. The data acquisition system can synchronise and centralise data from up to 32 measuring locations simultaneously, compare all exposure data against occupational exposure limits and automatically provide historical reports for each measuring point.
