Riken Keiki FP-31 Formaldehyde Meter

The RIKEN KEIKI FP-31 is a highly sensitive, portable gas detector specifically for the detection of formaldehyde (HCHO). The FP-31 measures low concentrations of formaldehyde (0 – 0.4 ppm range). Thanks to its built-in pump, the Riken Keiki FP-31 is also excellently suited to clearing confined spaces. This device detects formaldehyde using so-called detector tablets. Tablet No.008 measures within a range of 0 to 0,4 ppm with a resolution of 0,005 ppm. Tablet 009 measures within a range of 0 to 0,1 ppm with a resolution of 0,01 ppm. 

Using the Riken Keiki FP-31 you can establish whether formaldehyde exposure within your company is below the Dutch occupational limit value.

Unlike other detection methods for formaldehyde, which require pre-filters to filter out phenols and other substances, it uses specially doped colorimetric detection films to allow direct readout on the digital LCD display.
