What is a 2-channel dosimeter and why would you use it?

A 2-channel dosimeter measures noise at two points simultaneously, for example at both ears. This gives you insight not only into overall noise exposure but also into whether the noise is asymmetrical – crucial for:

For maximum accuracy and standards compliance

The Svantek SV 102A+ (class 1) is suitable for situations requiring the highest measuring accuracy – for example in defence, aviation or specialist occupational health and safety studies. This dosimeter also supports simultaneous measurements and MIRE technology.

Both models also offer 1/1 and 1/3 octave band analysis, automatic calibration, audio recording and extensive storage for long-term measurements.
