Why air sampling bags?

Combined with a high-quality air sampling pump, air sampling bags are a simple and reliable way of taking air and gas samples in the workplace. This allows you to have accurate analyses carried out and to have confidence in the correctness of the results.

The best-known type of air sampling bag is the Tedlar bag. Tedlar film is an extremely strong and durable material that is inert to many chemical compounds. The Tedlar bag is also ideally suited to taking air samples at very high temperatures. In addition to a wide range of standard bags, we also stock extra-large bags, and bespoke solutions are available. Various fittings are possible as well.

Kynar bags stand out because they are highly resistant to aggressive substances and solvents, at both normal and high temperatures. Kynar bags are also tear-resistant and suitable for many hydrocarbons, methane, CO and CO2, among others. At normal temperatures a Kynar bag withstands compounds with a pH value of up to 12. Here too, various sizes and fittings are available.

The final type of air sampling bag in our range is the Foil bag. These bags are highly suitable for sampling low-molecular compounds, such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. They are less suitable for sampling VOCs. Foil bags are available from BaSystemen in various sizes. As standard, the bags are supplied with a polypropylene fitting.
