Why filter and tube holders?
Air sampling stands or falls with taking accurate and reliable samples. An unreliable sample will never lead to reliable results, which means you may not take the right measures to protect your staff.
Filter and tube holders ensure that filters and sorbent tubes are positioned properly and securely while air samples are taken. This results in reliable samples, greater efficiency and greater ease of use. With filter and tube holders you can meet the requirements for air sampling and laboratory analysis.
Plenty of options
There is a filter or tube holder for practically every application. For dust sampling there is, for example, the Casella IOM Filter Holder, with a plastic or metal cassette. This filter holder is suitable for a particle size of 100 microns and smaller (inhalable fraction). The Higgins-Dewell cyclone filter holder is also suitable for dust sampling and a particle size of 4 microns and smaller (respirable fraction).
For sampling welding fume and any hexavalent chromium it may contain, the PAS-6 filter holder is perfect. Welding fume is a collective term for gases, vapours and particles released during welding, grinding, ablation, gouging, sanding and thermal cutting.
For sampling respirable dust at a flow rate of 10 litres per minute you use the FSP10 filter holder, while the GSP10 is suitable for the same kind of sampling of total dust. For measurements of asbestos fibres there is a special asbestos filter holder.
