Casella cyclone filter holder for dust sampling

Cyclone filter holders, or cyclone heads, are fraction sampling heads specially designed to collect respirable dust. These are the smaller dust fractions that penetrate further into our airways and are generally more harmful. The collection efficiency curve complies with the ACGIH/ISO/CEN standards for a respirable curve with a median 50% cut point of 4 microns.

The cyclones work by physically separating particles. The Higgins Dewell cyclone head has been known for years for its superior quality and supports 25mm filters. The cyclone head has a crocodile clip so that the filter holder can be positioned within the wearer's breathing zone.
