3M 3501+ Badge for measuring VOCs
The 3M™ 3501+ Badge is a fast solution for high sampling rate monitoring of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The 3M 3501+ is a cost-effective and convenient way to take personal air samples for low levels of organic vapours and to establish a short-term exposure limit (STEL). It is easy to use: clip it to your workwear without hindering your work activities. No batteries, tubing or pumps are needed to use the monitor to sample the air.
The 3M™ 3501+ Badge differs from the 3500+ Badge in its high sampling rate for VOCs. The Badge uses diffusion to take an air sample with an accuracy of +/- 25%, at a confidence level of 95%, and can be used both for personal monitoring and for area sampling. The 3M 3501+ Badge contains 562 sampling ports to generate high sampling rates and is designed to detect volatile organic vapours at low concentrations or in short-term sampling where low detection limits are important. Because of the high sampling rate, this Badge may become saturated at high concentrations or during long sampling times. Once you have followed all the instructions, simply send the Badge for analysis to the laboratory of your choice. Of course, you can also return it to BaSystemen and we will take care of the work for you. This monitor has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.
