The WatchGas Beacon ATEX is an alarm output that emits light in the event of an alarm. The system is ideal as an alarm signal for fixed and semi-fixed gas detection, but can also be used with (semi) fixed dust measuring equipment or sound level meters in ATEX environments.
The ATEX Beacon is fitted with 78 Ultra Bright RGB LEDs. These LEDs ensure that the device has low energy consumption. Various standard patterns are possible, such as an attractive loop, continuous illumination or flashing. As standard, the device is set to emit red, green, blue and yellow light. Any colour or pattern can be programmed, so that you always have immediately recognisable (alarm) status indications. As standard, the device can be controlled by supplying power to the inputs. This device also contains a Modbus-controlled relay, which makes it possible to connect a siren or another device to the ATEX Beacon. For this purpose the ATEX housing is fitted with two cable entries. The Beacon is ATEX-certified for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22, is highly resistant to dust and moisture, IP-65, and is easy to install.
