The WatchGas Beacon ATEX is an alarm output that produces both light and sound in the event of an alarm. The system is ideal as an alarm signal for (semi-)fixed gas detection, but can also be used with (semi-)fixed dust measuring equipment or sound level meters in ATEX environments.
The ATEX Beacon Sounder explosion-proof audible and visual signalling device can be used in hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 2 (explosive gas atmospheres) where IIA, IIB and IIC explosive gas or vapour is present with classification T1 to T6, and in Zone 21 and Zone 22 hazardous areas with a combustible dust atmosphere. It is widely used for incident signal alarms or signal indications in areas such as chemical plants, warehouses, filling stations, offshore oil platforms, the oil industry, etc.
