Blackline Safety G7c

The Blackline G7c is a modular safety monitor. It can be fitted with a cartridge holding 1 to 5 gas sensors and thus serve as a single-gas detector or multi-gas detector. Alternatively, it can be fitted with a cartridge without gas sensors and deployed as a man down device. What makes it unique is the complete package: the device with gas sensors also offers man down functions, making it a 2-in-1 unit. The G7c therefore has something for everyone. The device supports more than 20 different gas sensors.

A major advantage of this unit is its integrated 3G/4G connectivity. In the event of a gas leak, accident or health hazard, this allows a gatekeeper or emergency responders to be alerted manually or automatically so that action can be taken. The G7c automatically watches over employees and sends emergency alarms, even when the employee is no longer able to do so. All safety incidents are received by monitoring staff, so they can inform emergency responders or initiate an evacuation. From the safety portal a message can be sent to a specific group of G7c devices, triggering an alarm on those detectors.

Optionally, monitoring staff can establish a voice connection with the employee via the G7c. A constant connection and real-time insight into device status provide essential visibility and situational awareness for optimised responses to emergency calls.

The G7c has a modular design, so that you have a suitable instrument for every situation: man down alarm only, or combined with single-gas or four-gas cartridges with sensors of your choice. Bump test and calibration data are forwarded automatically to Blackline's monitoring portal for real-time compliance and reporting. A wireless connection means every G7c can be configured remotely, and firmware updates are installed automatically.

Of course it is also possible to switch off all extra functions and use the G7c as a straightforward gas detector. The cartridges with gas sensors mean that even a non-specialist can replace and calibrate a sensor.
