WatchGas NEO BENZ benzene-specific PID
The WatchGas NEO BENZ is a portable, high-performance PID meter for detecting benzene (C6H6). As standard, the instrument is fitted with a 9.8eV PID sensor suitable for detecting benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene and more. Unlike the WatchGas NEO PPM or the WatchGas NEO PPB, the WatchGas NEO BENZ has a metal tube holder between the probe and the sensor. A benzene separation tube can be fitted here to filter out all volatile organic compounds except benzene. This lets you focus specifically on benzene during a measurement, without interference from other gases. Benzene has a limit value of 0.2 ppm, which means your measurement results are easily disturbed without a separation tube.
The innovative design of the photo-ionisation detector and the UV lamp deliver excellent sensitivity, stability and repeatability of your detection results. Options include a built-in wireless modem that can forward detection data to a computer running the WatchGas mPower Suite application software. The WatchGas NEO BENZ has a measuring range of 0.01 to 200 ppm when carrying out benzene-specific measurements. Without a separation tube the measuring range is 0.001 to 10000 ppm.
