RAEGuard 2 PID ATEX Transmitter with PID
The RAEGuard 2 PID is a fixed transmitter that can be installed to continuously measure volatile organic compounds at a fixed location. RAE Systems is renowned for the quality of its PID sensors, which with this product they have managed to incorporate into a fixed detector head.
The instrument has a measuring range of 0.01 to 1000 ppm. With the pumped version it is even able to measure the sticky VOCs that are more often missed by a diffusion instrument. For the standard gases a diffusion RAE Guard 2 is also available.
The RAEGuard 2 PID runs on 10 to 28 VDC and offers an analogue (4-20 mA) three-wire signal output and RS-485 Modbus digital signal output. The RAEGuard 2 PID has a graphic display and LED status indicator
for fault and alarm conditions. In addition, low, high and fault relays can be configured to trigger external alarms or process controls.
