Casella Environmental Kit environmental monitor
The Casella environmental kit is an environmental case for the CEL-63X meter and Casella accessories. It has been developed to carry out long-term measurements without putting the expensive sound level meter at risk. The set consists of a rugged case with an IP-65 rating, which makes it perfectly suitable for outdoor measurements. All measurement data is of course stored in the internal memory of the sound level meter so that it can be read out later.
The case houses the Casella CEL-63X, which is connected to the microphone with an extension cable. The microphone is mounted on a sturdy tripod and protected by a windshield. This extension cable allows the microphone to be positioned up to 30 metres away from your measurement case. This set is normally supplied with a class 1 microphone for environmental measurements. The CEL-63X can of course also be fitted with a class 2 microphone, for example to produce noise maps or to carry out longer-term occupational health and safety measurements in the workplace.
The Casella Environmental Kit is fitted with a rechargeable battery that can power the system for up to ten days continuously. Information about the specifications of the sound level meter concerned can be found on the CEL-63X page.
