The CRY2626G is the world’s first drone-mounted acoustic camera for detecting gas leaks and partial electrical discharges. This advanced inspection solution uses a microphone array with beamforming technology to locate sound sources accurately and visualise them immediately via a high-resolution live image.
With its lightweight, robust aluminium housing and direct integration with DJI drones (M300 and M350) via SKYPORT, the CRY2626G offers a mobile and safe way to inspect hard-to-reach or hazardous areas quickly – without anyone having to be physically present.
The acoustic camera is attached to an industrial drone by means of a dual, electrically stabilised gimbal. This allows users to steer the camera horizontally and vertically from the drone controller in order to bring sound sources into view. Thanks to the real-time connection, acoustic images are displayed directly on the control screen, so inspections are supported both visually and acoustically.
The CRY2626G is designed for use at great heights and over long distances, for example along overhead pipelines or high-voltage lines. Acoustic information is accurately overlaid on the video image, making it easy to detect and document leaks or electrical discharges.
An advanced noise suppression system, consisting of physical sound insulation and the smart “HyperVision” algorithm, ensures that the propeller noise of the drone is filtered out as far as possible, so that only relevant acoustic signals are displayed.
Aerial inspection of high-voltage lines: Detects various types of partial discharge (corona, tracking, arcing) over long distances without shutting down installations.
Gas infrastructure & pipelines: Identifies leaks of natural gas, hydrogen and other industrial gases at hard-to-reach or unsafe locations.
Wind turbines & offshore installations: Inspection is possible without climbing or direct access.
Chemicals & heavy industry: Inspection of roofs, towers, stacks or insulated pipework where visual checks are limited.
Operators of critical infrastructure: Rapid deployment for preventive maintenance, incident investigation or after emergencies.
Fully integrated with DJI drones (SKYPORT-compatible)
Quickly connected to M300 and M350 drones, ready for use in less than one minute.
Remote acoustic visualisation
The microphone array with beamforming overlays sound sources onto the live video image. Detection at distances of tens to hundreds of metres.
Two-axis electric gimbal control
Pan and tilt function via the drone controller, for accurate inspection of complex structures.
Advanced noise suppression
Physical sound damping and the “HyperVision” algorithm to filter out drone noise.
Photo and video mode + storage on SD card
A large TF memory card makes it easy to read out inspection data afterwards.
Remote display via the controller screen
Acoustic data is shown live on the operator’s screen.
Lightweight and robust design
Aluminium housing resistant to harsh weather and environmental conditions.
Ready for transport
Supplied in a wheeled protective case for safe storage and transport.
Advanced reporting software
With playback function, automatic leak calculation and report generation (PDF).
The CRY2626G drone-mounted acoustic camera is the solution for situations in which on-site inspection is difficult, dangerous or time-consuming. With this camera, inspectors can trace sound sources from a great distance, without direct contact with installations or the need for scaffolding, aerial platforms or shutdowns.
Thanks to real-time visualisation and acoustic localisation, leaks, electrical discharges or mechanical problems can be identified immediately, even in places that are normally unreachable or only accessible under strict safety measures. The CRY2626G is ideal for:
Do you regularly work at locations where conventional inspection equipment falls short in terms of accessibility, safety or speed? Then the CRY2626G is a valuable addition to your inspection tools.
