The Svantek SV 90/303 330 mm Omnidirectional Sound Source is a high-quality dodecahedron sound generator designed for demanding acoustic measurements and analyses. • Size:
  The SV 90/303 has a diameter of 330 mm, as opposed to the 250 mm of the SV 90/103. 

• Power and sound pressure level: 
  The SV 90/303 is designed with a higher power rating (300 W vs. 150 W) and can produce higher sound pressure levels (122 dB vs. 118 dB). 
  
  Frequency range
  The SV 90/303 has a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The SV 90/103 has a frequency range of 60 Hz- 16,000 Hz. 

Applications of the Svantek SV 90/303

The SV 90/303 is widely used in building acoustics and environmental acoustics. Among other things, it is used for reverberation time measurements. The SV 90/303 is ideal for measuring reverberation time (T₆₀), a critical parameter that indicates how long a sound remains present in a room after the source stops. The omnidirectional sound distribution ensures that the sound reflects naturally through the room, giving a realistic representation of the reverberation time. The SV 90/202 can also be used for sound insulation measurements. To assess sound insulation between rooms, the SV 90/303 is used to measure transmission through walls, floors and ceilings. This is important in order to comply with building acoustics standards.
