KIMO LX 200 Light Meter

The LX 200 light meter from KIMO is a portable automatic lux meter, designed specifically for measuring light in the workplace. The LX 200 is a very simple measuring instrument that an occupational hygienist or safety expert can use to map the amount of incident light at a location quickly and easily. In almost every occupation, light is a necessary condition for doing the job properly. Sufficient light means we can see what we are doing and thus prevents unnecessary accidents. The measurement data is stored in data sets on the device so that results can be processed later using the LLX 200 software.

The KIMO LX 200 complies with the following standards: 

EN 12464-1 Light at the workplace (indoor)
This is a European standard for lighting requirements in workplaces and public spaces. With the right lighting, employees will perform better, feel better and be off sick less often. The aim of EN 12464-1 is therefore that people can work safely and comfortably.

EN 12464-2:2014 Light at the workplace (outdoor)
EN 12464-2 specifies lighting requirements for outdoor workplaces that meet the requirements for visual comfort and performance.

EN 12193 – Lighting of sports facilities
