QuantiFit2™ Respirator Fit Tester
The QuantiFit2™ is a quantitative fit testing system for respiratory protection that uses patented Controlled Negative Pressure (CNP) technology. Unlike particle counters or aerosol-based systems, the QuantiFit2 measures mask leakage directly using air, without particles, alcohol or any other consumables.
The system is suitable for testing full-face masks, half masks and other tight-fitting respiratory protection, and complies with the international standards for quantitative fit testing.
Measuring principle
During the test, the mask inlets are sealed and a controlled negative pressure is created inside the mask. The QuantiFit2 then measures exactly how much air leaks into the mask via the face seal or any defects in the mask.
Because leakage is measured directly, the CNP method provides an immediate and reproducible determination of the fit factor and the actual leak rate.
