Attention to our living environment is increasing. Because of the Dutch Environment and Planning Act, stricter regulations on noise nuisance, vibration and air quality, and the growth of infrastructure and construction projects, the need for reliable measurement and monitoring solutions is growing too. That is why we are looking for a strong Business Developer Environment!
As Business Developer Environment you are responsible for introducing, positioning and marketing our portfolio of noise, vibration and air quality monitors in the environmental market. You focus on the typical players within this field, such as:
- (Local) authorities and environmental agencies
- Engineering and consultancy firms
- Construction, infrastructure and demolition companies
- Monitoring and measurement companies
You understand the challenges surrounding noise nuisance, vibration measurement and air quality (such as particulate matter and ultrafine particles). You are able to translate these issues into concrete, suitable measurement solutions and long-term partnerships.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Developing and implementing the market strategy for our environmental solutions
- Introducing new measurement and monitoring concepts to existing and new customers
- Advising on applications such as:
- Noise measurement and noise monitoring
- Vibration measurement
- Measurement of particulate matter (PM10 / PM2.5) and ultrafine particles
- Building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, project managers and technical specialists
- Working together with Sales, Support and Service to serve customers as well as possible
- Spotting market developments and translating them into commercial opportunities
You are visible in the market, you know where projects arise and you are able to connect substance and commerce in a natural way.
What qualities do you bring?
- Higher professional (HBO+) / university level of working and thinking
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the environmental market (noise, vibration and/or air quality)
- Familiar with the relevant laws and regulations
- Experience with or knowledge of vibration measurement, noise nuisance and air quality issues
- Able to explain complex technical matters clearly to different target groups
- Enterprising, independent and a strategic thinker
- Strong in relationship management
- Eager to learn, analytical and with a healthy dose of humour
