WatchGas SST4 Pump 4-Gas detector
The SST4 series from WatchGas consists of a range of four-gas detectors designed for users who value simplicity and a compact size. The SST4 Pump is the pumped model, for example to be able to clear confined spaces.
Confined spaces often present a challenge, not only because of the harsh conditions such as high temperatures, chemicals and dirt, but also because of the time it can take to obtain a work permit. The SST4 Pump has been designed to speed up the sampling process by using the NFC function. This makes it possible to share measurement data faster, which enables quicker permit issuing. The pump is geared to harsh conditions, with an audible alarm of 95 dB at 30 cm, a rugged housing, a sampling range of up to 33 metres and accessories that make the work simpler and faster.
The SST4 Pump is available in three versions:
- The SST4 Pump with an infrared LEL sensor has an ATEX approval of the type: II 1 G Ex ia op is IIC T4 Ga, I M1 Ex ia op is I Ma. The device can also be used continuously for up to 100 hours when fitted with this LEL sensor.
- The SST4 Pump with a low-power catalytic LEL sensor has an ATEX approval of the type: II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, I M1 Ex ia I Ma. The battery life of the device will be approximately 50 hours when this LEL sensor is used.
- The SST4 Pump with a standard catalytic LEL sensor has an ATEX approval of the type: II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, I M1 Ex ia I Ma. The battery life of the device will be approximately 18 hours when this LEL sensor is used.
A major advantage of the SST4 series of gas detectors is that they can be charged wirelessly. In addition, countless accessories are available for the SST4 series, such as a charging station (both single and multiple), SST Docks, cases, filters and more.
