WatchGas NEO PPB high-performance PID meter
The WatchGas NEO PPB is a portable, high-performance PID meter for detecting a wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Volatile organic compounds include various chemicals such as benzene, alcohols, fuels, thinners, solvents and many others. Many VOCs can have harmful effects on health, both in the short and the long term. Measuring these substances is therefore essential for the safety of employees in sectors such as oil and gas, fire services and hazardous materials response (Hazmat), the pharmaceutical industry, paints and adhesives, and many more.
The NEO PPB from WatchGas is a somewhat lesser-known portable monitor for volatile organic compounds. The NEO PPB has a measuring range of 0 – 15.000 ppm and differs from the NEO PPM in its resolution of 0,001 PPM, or 1 PPB (compared with 0,01 ppm for the NEO PPM). The instrument is very attractive in terms of cost and its specifications are on a par with other handheld PID meters on the market. The NEO PPB has the same stable sensor with fast t90 response, complies with the usual European ATEX and IECEx standards and also compares well on dimensions and weight. The WatchGas NEO series cannot be fitted with an 11.7 eV lamp.
