The CRY8124 Acoustic Camera is an advanced measuring instrument for precisely locating gas leaks, vacuum leaks and partial electrical discharges (PD). Equipped with no fewer than 200 microphones, high processing capacity and integrated thermography, this system sets new standards in sound visualisation for industrial inspections.
With a detection range up to 2x further than earlier generations and the ability to detect minuscule leaks from a distance, the CRY8124 is ideally suited to demanding industrial environments where speed, precision and safety are paramount.
The CRY8124 uses an extremely fine-meshed 200-channel microphone array (12 cm diameter) and an advanced HyperVision algorithm to isolate sound sources with great accuracy, even in noisy environments. By overlaying the real-time acoustic images directly onto the visual image, anomalies are located quickly and precisely.
The camera combines acoustic detection with thermal imaging. This allows temperature anomalies – for example at steam leaks or overheated components – to be visualised immediately alongside the sound signal, without additional equipment.
Operation is via an intuitive user interface, with functions for recording, analysis, classification (e.g. corona discharge, surface discharge) and immediate reporting.

Thanks to its exceptional resolution, long range and combined measurement functions, this system provides a complete picture of the acoustic and thermal status of installations – without physical contact or production downtime.
Compared with mid-range or entry-level models, the investment in the CRY8124 is higher, but this translates directly into practical benefits:
Higher detection accuracy thanks to 200 microphones. This is a further step up from entry-level and mid-range models such as the CRY2620 (64 microphones) or CRY2623 (128 microphones).
More accurate location of very small leaks, for example 0,003 L/min at 2 bar from 10 metres away, which is not achievable with the CRY2620 or CRY2623.
Much greater detection range: ideal for inspections at height or from a distance, without physical risk to the user.
