FieldScout TDR150 Soil Moisture Meter

The FieldScout TDR150 has proven itself over many years and is the most widely used soil moisture meter in the Netherlands. The device has its roots in agriculture and landscaping. It soon became clear, however, that this rugged instrument is also extremely well suited to soil remediation work. Its measuring speed, accuracy, reliable operation and data logging make it the ideal instrument for this application. The FieldScout TDR-150 also features thick rods that penetrate hard or dry ground without damaging the rods or the device.

TDR stands for Time Domain Reflectometry. A pulse is sent into the soil and its reflection is measured. This technique is extremely accurate and fast: you have a measurement result within a second. For this application we supply the FieldScout TDR 150 as standard with 3 cm rods and without Bluetooth or GPS. Other specifications are of course available on request.
