Sometimes it seems as though the infrastructure in the Netherlands is permanently being dug up. As a result there is a great deal of excavation, including in contaminated ground or close to gas pipelines.
Fortunately there are the DLP and KVP professionals who study how work can be carried out safely in these environments. As part of the examination they also need to know how the measuring equipment works, such as the UltraRAE 3000 benzene-specific meter, the MultiRAE Lite and the Fieldscout TDR 150 soil moisture meter.
While studying for the examination the thought goes through your head: 'How nice it would be if someone existed who works with this measuring equipment every day and could just sit the exam for me.'
